Membership Requirements for Undergraduate Students
- Must be enrolled as a major or minor in a psychology program
- Must have completed at least 3 semesters (or equivalent) of full-time college coursework
- Must have completed at least 9 semester hours of psychology classes (which can include AP Psychology if you got college credit for the course)
- Must have at least an overall GPA of 3.3 (on a 4.0 scale)
- Must have at least a 3.0 psychology GPA
- * Points are no longer required for general membership
Membership Requirements for Undergraduate Transfer Students
- Must meet all of the undergraduate eligibility requirements (posted above)
- Must have completed at least 12 semester credit hours at UGA
- Must have recieved 9 semester hours of psychology classes at UGA
- AP Psychology counts for credit!
Membership Requirements for Graduate Students
- Must have at least a 3.3 overall GPA in all graduate coursework
- Must be enrolled in a graduate program in any field of psychology

Application Link! Please print this application, and attach a copy of your unofficial UGA transcript to the paper application. Also, attach $80 payment in cash or as a check made payable to UGA Psi Chi.
- Applications will open again in the Spring of 2026, so be sure to check back!
- Remember that anyone can come to our meetings. It is encouraged that official members and non-official members attend!
