The UGA Department of Psychology, within the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences, is a nationally recognized department with award-winning professors who are dedicated to providing the highest quality education possible to our students.

Programs

Students in a psychology classOur programs (undergraduate, MA, and PhD) are consistently nationally recognized and students graduating from our programs have gone on to successful careers in a variety of academic, research, and applied settings. The Department of Psychology was recently ranked in the top 100 U.S. psychology programs by U.S. News and World Report's 2017 edition of America's Best Psychology Schools. The Clinical Psychology graduate program was also tied for 36th overall.
