Graduate Student, Clinical Program Nate (he/him) is a graduate student in the Clinical Psychology PhD program and currently completing his predoctoral clinical internship at the Charleston Consortium/Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). His research focuses on the integration of personality and psychopathology to better understand externalizing behaviors (e.g., aggression, rule-breaking, substance use) across three areas: (1) Multimethod examination of individual differences associated with externalizing behaviors (2) Investigation of the dynamic nature of externalizing behaviors via ambulatory assessment (3) Decomposition of multidimensional externalizing constructs and disorders (e.g., psychopathy) into their basic elements Additionally, he is a strong supporter of open science practices and is deeply interested in questions related to meta-science and the philosophy of science.
