My master's research focused on deficits in the development of "mindreading" in children with autism and the relation between the development of this cognitive ability and the sensory system. Currently, I am using EEG and MEG to study the relationship between cognitive and sensory processing in a variety of populations, including pathological gambling and narcissism. My primary projects examine 1) excess neural noise as a function of cognitive control requirements in schizophrenia and 2) voluntary saccadic behavior as an endophenotype for schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.
