Undergraduate: B.S. Biological-Psychology; Biomedical Engineering Systems, Tufts University

Graduate Program: M.S. Clinical Psychology (In Progress)

                                   Ph.D. Clinical Psychology (Expected 2016)

UGA Dept. of Psychology - Clinical

Current research interests: My body of research examines neuropsychological ability, neural functioning, and brain architecture in adults suffering from acquired (e.g., head injury, stroke) and degenerative (e.g., Alzheimer’s disease, Mild Cognitive Impairment) disorders. I use structural MRI, functional MRI (fMRI), and diffusion tensor MRI (DTI) to examine the effects of these disorders on the brain. I am specifically interested in the long-term cognitive, neuroanatomical, and functional changes that are potentially associated with multiple concussions in athletes throughout the lifespan. I also investigate the interaction of these processes with mood states, personality traits, and genetic predispositions.
