Membership Information Membership in PEDA is open to all graduate students and/or faculty members in the Department of Psychology at the University of Georgia. Interested individuals from other departments across UGA (such as Educational Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Social Work, etc.) are also encouraged to join PEDA. Membership in PEDA is voluntary and completely free. Members are not required to pay any dues or other payment to participate in PEDA activities. While there are no formal requirements for maintaining active membership in PEDA, members are encouraged to attend monthly meetings and participate in special events, including guest lectures, workshops, and other social activities. By sharing your unique perspectives on teaching and education, the learning experience can be enhanced for all members. PEDA is governed by a student-led Executive Committee and a faculty sponsor from the Department of Psychology. Committee members are selected on a voluntary basis and are expected to serve at least a 1-year term on the committee. To Join Contact our Executive Board to get added to the PEDA eLC page.
