Congratulations to Dr. Allison Howard who was recently awarded a Learning Technologies Grant from the UGA Center for Teaching and Learning in collaboration with Dr. Sergio Bernardes and Dr. Marguerite Madden from the UGA Center for Geospatial Research. Their interdisciplinary project entitled "Creating Augmented and Virtual Reality Applications and Instructional Content for Mobile Devices to Enhance Face-to-Face and Remote Teaching and Learning at UGA" will fund a team of undergraduate and graduate student researchers to develop AR/VR mobile apps, addressing the challenges of teaching and learning during the COVID-19 crisis and beyond.
