Image: Connect Abroad–Immerse: Psychology in Amsterdam By Susan Ambrosetti Designed exclusively for first-year psychology majors with an interest in organizational psychology, Connect Abroad-Immerse: Psychology in Amsterdam offers a unique spring-break experience in one of Europe’s most progressive cities. Taking place during Spring Break 2026, this one-credit experiential learning program invites students to explore the science of work through a global lens. Participants explore how psychological principles can be applied to enhance the workplace experience. Highlights include unique cultural experiences; immersive activities focused on organizational psychology; visits to leading Dutch universities to engage with international scholars; and company tours to observe corporate culture and the role of psychologists in the workplace. Led by Malissa Clark, psychology department head with expertise in employee wellbeing and I-O, the program offers students a hands-on introduction to the science of work through global experiences. Amsterdam is known for its stunning canals, progressive values, and its vibrant cultural scene, which offers a compelling backdrop for exploring how psychological principles can be applied to enhance the workplace experience.
