Fall 2025 Psychology Department Picnic

This October, the Department of Psychology welcomed its faculty, staff, graduate students, and their families to a local park for a department-wide picnic. The event took place on a clear autumn day, and offered the opportunity for a welcome pause in a busy semester. The turnout reflected just how much everyone appreciated the chance to slow down and connect outside the usual work and classroom routines.

This was the first event of its kind in several years, and the hope is to continue it as an annual tradition. The potluck-style meal offered something for everyone, with tables full of homemade dishes and desserts. Conversations stretched from research ideas to family updates, and it was a reminder of how strong the sense of community is within the department.
