Dr. Anne Shaffer's Work with Families of Teens with Anorexia Nervosa Featured in UGA News article

Check out this article featuring Dr. Anne Shaffer's work in collaboration with Cincinnati Children’s Hospital developing interventions to use in addition to family-based therapy to treat teens with anorexia nervosa. This study uses a tool called a “five-minute speech sample” to screen families for hostility and criticism and then redirect to emotional coaching.
