Malissa Clark
  • As graduate coordinator, she has received the following grants for the department of psychology: 
    • Recipient of Recruitment Enhancement Grant ($1,000) from UGA Graduate School Office of Recruitment and Diversity Initiatives (2021)
    • Recipient of Retention and Inclusion Grant ($5,000) from UGA Graduate School Office of Recruitment and Diversity Initiatives (2021)
  • Served as a committee member for the Hebl Grant for Reducing Gender Inequities in the Workplace (2020). In this role she reviewed proposals for the award.
  • Served as committee member on the department of psychology's diversity committee (2019-2022)
Lillian Eby
  • As Editor in Chief at the Journal of Applied Psychology (2020-present), she has lead several initiatives to support Inclusive Excellence with a few highlighted below:
    • Editorial Fellowship Program for individual historically excluded from the publication process (developed program in 2022, cohort 2 in progress)
    • Paper Development Workshop (2021, 2022, 2023) - targeted underrepresented scholars and those in less well-resourced universities
    • Research Idea Incubation Workshop (2024) - targeted underrepresented scholars and those in less well-resourced universities
    • Diversified Consulting Editors (editorial board) by increasing representation of international scholars and scholars historically underrepresented in I-O Psychology

Yimin He
  • Mentored underrepresented minority students, providing guidance on academic and career development.
Jeffrey Olenick
  • Lead the Creating our Future for Equitable Employment (COFFEE) lab where we study a variety of inclusive excellence issues regarding organizational production of inequality, interventions to address inequality, and personally inclusive behaviors to improve employee well-being.
  • Former member of the Committee on Ethnic and Minority Affairs (CEMA) Mentor, March 2023-December 2023, Society for Industrial-Organizational Psychology and acted as a mentor for a graduate student from a traditionally marginalized group to provide outside perspective on success in graduate school and academia.

  • Wrote nomination letters for two underrepresented Ph.D. students for the UGA Presidential Graduate Fellowship (both of which were ultimately awarded)
  • Part of the development team for two mentor training programs that include content on effectively mentoring protégés from underrepresented backgrounds.
