Welcome to the University of Georgia, Gene-Brain-Social Behavior Lab! Our lab is designed to better understand individual differences in social and affective functioning in humans by using a multi-modal approach. We are interested in understanding the pathway between genes, the brain and social behavior in humans, and how culture is associated with how people feel and make decisions. In our laboratory, we use multi-modal approach that includes genetics, brain-imaging, personality assessment, social-behavioral experiments and cultural assessments. The primary objective of research within our lab is to understand the factors contributing to, and associated with, individual differences in the way people think and process their social world.
