Jason Langley

Hometown: Lawrenceville, GA

Undergraduate: B.S. Mathematics, Southern Polytechnic State University

Graduate Program: Physics and Astronomy

Jason completed his Ph.D. in Physics at UGA in 2011.  His is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the Wallace H. Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering at Georgia Tech and Emory University.  He is currently working on two projects which focus on neuroimaging. The first studies aging in the macaque brain in order to find new biomarkers for aging and the second studies on estimating temperature in the brain after stroke. He attributes his success in the job market in large part to the interactions facilitated by his involvement as a Coverdell Fellow.
