You could very rightly say that the lifeblood of the Marsh Lab is our undergraduate research assistants. Due to the size of the lab, it is necessary for us to depend on and train undergraduates to conduct our experiments. While the theory development and experimental design remain the charge of Dr. Marsh and his graduate students, the lab could not function without the amazing dedication and effort of our assistants. We fondly call them our 4800s, a nickname arising from the university's numerical code for the independent study course in which they enroll. Below you can see these fine students as we picture them all in tribute to their hard work.
